Bruin Plans is the student-built campus app that helps UCLA students find their next plan together.

Discover events made by other students, host your own, and chat with everyone who joined. From "Powell study at 9" to "boba run after class" to "beach day Saturday", every plan you wish was easier to coordinate now lives in one place, gated to verified UCLA emails.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Bruin Plans isn't another generic social feed. The app is built for UCLA students, by UCLA students, and it's restricted to @ucla.edu and @g.ucla.edu addresses so you always know who you're meeting.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Discover Browse a real-time feed of student-created events. Filter by category: study, food, fitness, social, off-campus. Save the ones that catch your eye to revisit later.

Host Create an event in seconds. Set the time, location, photo, group size, and short description. Edit or cancel any time you host.

Join Tap "Join" on any event with room. You're added to the attendee list and unlocked into the group chat — no more "who's all going?" via text relay.

Chat Every event has a built-in group chat for joined attendees. Send messages, attach photos, reply to specific messages, and add reactions. Live updates so you never miss a meeting-spot change.

Save Tap save on any event you're curious about. Your saved list lives in a personal Your Events hub so you can revisit it before signing up.

SAFETY AND COMMUNITY

Bruin Plans is a user-generated content app, and community safety is built in:

— Verified UCLA email required to sign up — Report users or events to our moderation queue with a structured reason and optional notes — Block other users to hide their hosted events and chat messages — In-app Account Deletion (Profile → Delete Account) removes your profile, hosted events, messages, saved events, push tokens, and reports — Threatening or abusive text patterns are blocked at the input layer before posting

PRIVACY

We use Supabase for authentication, storage, and real-time sync. We collect only what's needed to run the app: your UCLA email and account profile, the events you host or join, the messages you send, and beta reliability analytics. We do not sell data.
