Pentaduo is a strategy board game in walnut and brass, built for players who like to think a few moves ahead. Play a card, claim its space on the ten-by-ten board, and race to build five in a row. First to two pentaduos takes the game; first to clear the match takes the table. Inspired by the classic chip-and-card games of the parlor era, reimagined as a calm, native iOS experience.

PLAY A FAIR, HONEST OPPONENT • Four difficulty tiers — Novice, Apprentice, Adept, and Expert — so the game grows with you. • Expert runs a real alpha-beta search and plays an honest game. It never peeks at your hand and never cheats. • Two full decks, eight jacks, four wild corners — the complete ruleset, faithfully rendered: two-eyed jacks place anywhere, one-eyed jacks lift an opponent's chip.

LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE • A guided tutorial walks you to your first win, with highlighted cards and tap-by-tap coaching. • Coach Mode tints every legal placement green, winning moves gold, opponent threats red, and quietly pulses the Expert's recommendation in brass. • Ask for a Hint any time — see what the Expert would play, with optional reasoning for why.

SEE HOW YOU PLAYED • After every game, a chess-style review grades your play: an accuracy score, a letter grade, and your best and worst moments. • Step through the game move by move. Each pivotal move is explained in plain language on a clear mini-board, so you actually learn from it.

TWENTY HAND-BUILT PUZZLES • Three tiers — Learn the basics, sharpen your Tactics, then try to Beat the Expert from a crafted position. • Each solo puzzle has a single best idea and a known, verified solution.

MATCH SCORING WORTH PLAYING • Penta-N scoring wraps games into a points race — choose a single game, a best-of-three, or a full eight-game tournament. • Sweep your opponent for bonus points.
