IMPORTANT Elderoak is a family-care coordination tool — not a medical device, telemedicine service, clinical decision-support system, or emergency service. In any emergency, call your local emergency number directly. Apple Watch fall detection is performed by watchOS itself; Elderoak relays the alert to family caregivers via push notification on a best-effort basis (Apple Push Notification service delivery is not guaranteed). Apple's own fall-detection flow — the on-watch prompt and auto-911 countdown — runs independently. The Apple Watch SOS button also sends a best-effort push notification to family caregivers. Prescription scans are a typing aid — every saved medication requires explicit user verification against the original Rx label. Doctor-visit recordings require you to obtain the doctor's consent first (many US states and most Canadian provinces require all-party consent for private conversations). Elderoak does not provide personal services, does not match users with service providers, does not facilitate work-for-hire, and does not process payments between users. The app is a private family coordination tool; everyone using a family group is invited by the account owner directly.
