ArtLens - Portrait Glow Filter

ArtLens is built so your still images stay under your control. All image processing runs locally on your iPhone or iPad; your photos and edits remain on your device; when you remove content you saved inside the app, it is deleted from that device; the app does not collect facial data. ArtLens is a straightforward photo filter tool: pick a picture from your library, browse Core Image–based looks, tune strength, and keep results in an in-app gallery.

The editor shows a large preview while you work. You can switch among ten presets—Vivid, Dramatic, Mono, Noir, Chrome, Fade, Instant, Process, Tonal, and Transfer—built with the same Core Image photo-effect filters found in Apple’s Photos app. One intensity slider from 0% to 100% adjusts strength. Processing stays on the device for each preview and save.

Tap Save to History to store a JPEG in the app’s documents area and list it in the Gallery. Those files stay on your hardware until you delete them from the Gallery, which removes both the thumbnail entry and the stored file locally. Throughout this flow the app does not collect facial data; it only retains what you explicitly save.

Open the Gallery to scroll a grid of saved images. Tap for full screen, pinch to zoom, drag while zoomed, and double-tap to toggle zoom. A small disclaimer control in the corner repeats that face-related information is handled on-device only. You may save a copy to the system photo library when permitted, or delete the item from in-app history.

The Home screen repeats that photos are processed on your device only, reinforcing that your library picks and filter previews never leave the phone for processing and that removal is under your control.

Settings lists web-view links to legal documents, a bug-report sheet, and a short About alert. They support transparency without changing how filters run.

After a successful History save, the app can move you to the Gallery tab so the new entry is easy to find. The editor uses a dark backdrop so tones read clearly. ArtLens does not include studio retouching, portrait relighting, or automatic background removal beyond the listed filters. Performance depends on your device and image size. For classic looks and a private on-device gallery, ArtLens keeps every step local from start to finish.
