The NSW Selective High School Placement Test has three multiple-choice papers: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills. Most practice apps cover Mathematical Reasoning and stop. Cognora covers all three, plus the Opportunity Class test.

FREE AND UNLIMITED Free gives you the diagnostic, a curated question library across every section, worked explanations, one taster mock exam a month, and the Parents' Portal. Unlimited adds the full question bank, a new mock paper every Friday, and spaced-repetition drilling on the questions your child keeps missing.

A NOTE ON WHAT WE DON'T DO The Selective test also has a Writing paper. Cognora does not mark writing — that needs a human, and we would rather say so than pretend an algorithm substitutes for a teacher.
