There are two ways to connect. Tap "Request a Call" and contractors in your area get notified — the ones available and ready for the job will reach out. Or browse contractors yourself, find someone whose work you like, and call them directly. Either way, the call happens live inside the app — no phone number needed to connect. Calls happen one at a time, so you're always in control of who you talk to and when. And your personal info stays protected — contractors see your project and general area, but your full name and home address are never shared until you accept a quote. Want to share sooner? That's always up to you.

The best way to hire someone is face to face — see who they are, walk them through the space, and get a real feel for whether they're the right fit before committing to anything. Prefer a regular voice call? That works too. And once you've connected, keep the conversation going through messages — all inside the app, all under the same project.

After the call, the quote comes through the app. Review it, ask questions, accept when you're ready. Pay securely through Stripe. If you and your contractor agree to handle a payment outside the app, you can let them know through the app. Every completed job leaves a verified review on the contractor's profile.

If a lead goes unclaimed within the window, it becomes free — we want every homeowner talking to a great contractor, and you connecting with a potentially great client at no cost. And once that first call happens — paid or free — every call, message, and follow-up under that project is covered. No extra charges.

Before every call, you see the full project — photos, scope, timeline, budget, and the homeowner's 60-second video walkthrough (optional, but highly recommended). You show up prepared. No surprises, no wasted calls.
