Aperis is not a swiping app. There is no photo feed and no endless browsing. Every profile photo is liveness verified against a live selfie scan before its shown to there are no fake or stolen photos. You can have at most 5 active likes at ones and if someone doesn't match back, your like is returned and you can use it elsewhere. There is no infinite scroll

Matching is done by a 5 dimension psychological compatibility algorithm consisting of values, conflict style, empathy, ambition and love language and not based on appearance. Photos, voice calls and video calls only unlock in stages after real conversation has earned them.
