Choose a video, trim the range, tune the basics, and export it as a lightweight looping GIF.

GIF Distillery is a simple tool for creating GIFs from local videos.

Choose a video from Photos, Files, the share sheet, or other supported import flows, then select the range you want to convert. You can adjust basic GIF settings such as frame rate, width, color count, loop behavior, playback speed, and fade out. After export, the generated GIF can be shared, saved, or copied.

Video and GIF processing happens on the user's device. GIF Distillery does not upload selected videos or generated GIFs to the developer's servers.

Review steps:

Open the app and choose a video from Photos or Files. Adjust the GIF range and settings. Tap Create GIF. After export completes, verify Share GIF, Save, or Copy GIF. Privacy:

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking. App Group group.com.wecken.gifdistillery is used to pass shared video imports from the Share Extension to the main app. Note: Watermark removal is not intended to remove third-party watermark, and not capable of it. GIF Distillery comes with the default watermark of its own logo for marketing purpose. User can remove it via IAP. I changed marketing URL site description, so users won't misunderstand.
