THE DAILY DRAW: CardHabit is an iOS daily challenge app built on trading-card-game mechanics: every morning it deals you five habit cards, and you commit to what you can handle that day. The deck decides what today asks. You decide which cards you'll see through. Every card is scoped for a real day. A cold shower, not a program. A page, not a chapter. Small enough to execute. Hard enough to count. Hold the card to complete it. No checkbox. No half credit. A card either finishes or it doesn't. When the last one lands, the streak counts on the All Done screen. Day 47 done.

THE ARENA: The Arena is where friends play cards into each other's days. Challenge cards raise what a morning asks. Substitution swaps a card in your hand. Raise the Bar makes one heavier. The Tempter and Fog of War take the choosing away entirely, and you execute what's in front of you anyway. That's the discipline. A Challenge is not an attack. The Challenge came from someone who believes you can handle more. Nothing arrives anonymous: when Alex raises the bar on your Tuesday, the card says it came from Alex. Buffs, the helpful cards, are always available; Challenges require mutual consent. Finish one and the app records it plainly. You did it anyway.

BUFFS: Buffs are the other half of the table. Double XP. Streak Shield. Second Wind. Gilded Draw. A shield for the streak. A second chance at dusk. A gilded morning. Heavier or lighter, a card from a friend says the same thing: someone expects you back tomorrow.

ARCHETYPES: You don't pick your archetype. The cards do. Ironclad. Sage. Alchemist. Phantom. Four patterns of showing up, read from the cards you actually complete, not the ones you say you'll get to. The deck keeps honest records.

THE VAULT: Every card you finish earns a vault card. The collection grows one finished card at a time. There is no other way to grow it. Most cards are common. A few catch the light. The rarest arrive gilded, and you remember those mornings. The vault is not for sale. Attendance is the only currency.

BUILT TO SURVIVE MISSED DAYS: Extreme programs run on a single bet: that you never slip. One missed day and the counter resets to zero, as if the forty before it never happened. CardHabit takes the other bet. The streak isn't the point. The player you become from showing up is. Miss a day and the system holds its shape. When a week goes sideways, Recovery Mode is a 7-day pause from being challenged. Silent to friends. No streak penalty. Rest is not the opposite of discipline. Quitting is.
