Marhaba — Syrian Arabic

Marhaba teaches Syrian Arabic — the everyday spoken Arabic of Damascus and the wider Levant. It is the dialect people actually use at home, at work and on the street, not the formal Modern Standard Arabic of news broadcasts and textbooks.

The app is built for absolute beginners. You start with a single word, hear it in a native voice, see it written in both Arabic script and phonetic transliteration, and meet it again over the following days through short quizzes that adapt to what you already know.
