CUTs! Material Cut List

CUTs! is a material cut list calculator for planning cuts from long materials such as wood, cable, pipe, aluminium profiles, LED strips, rods, wiring materials, and other linear stock.

Before cutting, CUTs! helps you check how many pieces to cut, how many full-length materials to buy, whether existing scraps can be used first, and how much material will be left over.

The key feature is scrap-first cut planning. CUTs! tries to use the scrap pieces you already have, then calculates how many new full-length materials are still needed.

For example, if you plan to use 4 m stock but already have one 2 m scrap and two 1.5 m scraps, enter them into CUTs!. The app will try to use those scraps before adding new full-length materials.

This helps reduce waste, reuse leftover material, and make better purchasing decisions before work begins.

CUTs! lets you enter scrap lengths and quantities, then gives those scraps priority when creating a cutting plan. If your scraps are enough, you can create a plan without buying new stock. If not, CUTs! shows how many full-length materials should be added.

CUTs! creates practical cut plans designed to reduce unused material. It places cut pieces efficiently into scraps and full-length stock to create a clear cutting list.

CUTs! supports extra allowance for each cut. Kerf is entered in fixed millimeters, so small values such as 2 mm or 3 mm are easy to handle. This is useful when you need to consider saw blades, cutters, cutting machines, or small loss at each cut.

CUTs! supports mm, cm, m, in, and ft, making it useful for construction, electrical work, fabrication, woodworking, DIY, and imported materials.

Calculation results can be saved as record cards with stock length, scraps, cut lengths, quantities, total cut length, total leftover length, usage rate, and cutting details. You can export them as PDF and use them as work instructions, purchase planning documents, or shareable cut lists.
