WHAT IT IS

The world is a grid of hexagons. Walk through one and it becomes yours, painted in your color. Close a loop on the map and the whole enclosed area falls under your banner. Your conquered land shows up to every Pawmark player nearby — with your emblem and your dog's name planted right on top of it — and theirs shows up to you.

The catch: this is a WEEKLY war. Every Monday at 00:00 UTC, every dog's power resets to zero. Your power IS the kilometers you've walked this week. To conquer a rival's territory you have to walk MORE than them, then close a loop around their cells. Walked less than them? Their land is immune to your attack — for now.

ANTI-CHEAT, BY DESIGN

Distances are validated on our servers, not trusted from the phone. Impossible speeds (no, you can't drive your way to the top) are dropped automatically. The leaderboard rewards real walking — nothing else.

ZERO PAY-TO-WIN

Pawmark is free. We do not — and never will — sell anything that affects gameplay. The walker who walks more wins, period. Any future cosmetic items (emblems, themes) will never change who wins a combat.

A FAIR, SAFE COMMUNITY

Names are filtered for profanity automatically. You can report or block any player from inside the app. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

YOUR ROUTES STAY YOURS

Your detailed GPS routes never leave your phone. Only your conquered cells, your weekly km, and your dog's name/color/emblem are shared on the map — never your exact path.
