ABOUT THE AI

CareMynd uses Google's Gemini AI through Firebase to generate two structured artifacts. The AI receives your parent's logged data (conditions, medications, observations) for the inference call and returns a summary. The data is not used to train Google's models. Every AI-generated report ends with the same disclaimer: CareMynd is not a substitute for medical care — always consult your parent's healthcare provider.

You can opt out of AI entirely from the in-app consent screen or revoke consent later in Settings. The tracking, medication, and appointment features work fully without AI.

The Home Readiness Checklist links each item to a curated "Learn More" article from recognized non-profit and medical-institution sources — Mayo Clinic, NIH/NIA, CDC, AARP, Alzheimer's Association. No AI-generated links. No commercial product affiliations. No referral fees.
