CloutBout is where you put your reputation where your mouth is. Make any claim. Anyone can challenge it. Win, the whole feed knows. Lose, the whole feed knows that too.

No money on the line. No real-cash wagers. Just clout — a public record of every claim you've made, won, or lost. The leaderboard is your scoreboard.

THE THREE TYPES OF CLAIMS

— Sports claims: Pick a real game, call the outcome, stake your clout. Resolved automatically when the game ends.

— Free-form claims: Predict anything. "I'll wake up before you Tuesday." "The next iPhone will cost $1499." "My team makes the playoffs." If someone accepts, you're locked in.

— Open claims: Post a free-form claim, pick your expiry window (6 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, or a week). If nobody accepts before it expires, your stake refunds automatically. Or cancel anytime before someone accepts.

HOW WINS AND LOSSES WORK

For sports claims, results pull from live game data — no debate. For free-form claims, both players declare the outcome. If they agree, the winner takes the clout. If they don't, a 3-day cooldown ends in an automatic void — both players refunded.

EVERY CLAIM IS PUBLIC

Your hits and misses live on your profile. Climb the ranks: Rookie, Contender, Veteran, Pro, GOAT. There's no hiding from a bad take.

WHY NO MONEY

We're not a gambling app. We don't take a cut. There's no buy-in, no withdrawals, no payment processing. The economy is reputation. The cost of being wrong is being known to have been wrong.
