The tools: • Ping - Measure packet loss and response time in real time, with Live Activity support • DNS - Test and compare your DNS against well-known providers to see if you should switch • Advanced LAN scanner - Find out which devices are on your network, and which ports they have open • Port scanner - Check the open ports on a host to confirm everything is the way you want it • Path MTU - Find the largest packet size your network lets through without fragmenting it • Subnet calculator - Calculates the network address, broadcast and number of hosts. (Yes, because I can never remember it myself.) • Traceroute - See the route your packets take to the target • Reverse DNS - Look up PTR records • Status for Wi-Fi, cellular, VPN and Personal Hotspot - including the data sent and received while your hotspot is active
