Optrix is a single-player puzzle game about light, mirrors and patience.

Every level hands you a laser, a grid full of optical elements, and a handful of crystals. Each crystal has to be hit by the beam in its own colour. Light them all and the level is solved.

Mirrors send the beam off in a new direction. Splitters multiply it. Colour splitters break white light into red, green and blue. Some tiles can be pushed — you can spot them by their subtle wobble — and slide until an obstacle stops them. Bombs, balloons, blockers, doors, barriers and logic tiles arrive gradually across the level packs, so nothing ever lands in front of you unexplained.

Designed to be calm. No streaks, no in-app purchases, no ads, no tracking. Put it down mid-level and come back hours later; the pack stays exactly where you left it.

Stars unlock later levels. • Solution reveals — spend the reveals you earn with stars to unlock the creator's reference solution and watch it play back at 1/4x up to 4x. Replaying your own winning run is always free. • Offline mode — pre-download level packs and play with no connection. Your solutions queue locally and sync, with star scoring, the moment you are online again. • Cross-device progress — one account for iPhone, iPad and the browser. • Sign in your way: email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Delete your account yourself, any time, from the Account screen. • Fully bilingual: English and German, including the illustrated guide. • Tilt parallax — the background drifts gently as you tilt the device. One switch in Settings turns it off.

WHY AN ACCOUNT?

Levels and your solutions are not baked into the app; they live on our servers. That lets new level packs arrive without an app update, and it means your progress follows you to every device you sign in on.

Optrix began in 1995 as a TurboPascal experiment in 16 colours, and was rebuilt in 2025/2026 by the same two people. It is made and run by independent developers on their own hardware — no publisher, no ad network, no analytics.
