Subscurate: Bill Tracker

Subscurate is a calm, considered subscription and bill tracker for iPhone. It's built around one question: do you actually still want what you're paying for?

Many trackers lead with red numbers and total-spent counters. Subscurate does the opposite. It asks you, gently, why you signed up — and then it remembers, so you can decide for yourself when something has stopped earning its place.

THOUGHTFUL, NOT PUSHY • Attach a short "intention" to every subscription — the reason you said yes. Optional, never nagged about. • Three quiet themes: Earth, Snow, Rain. Pick the one that fits the mood you want the app to carry.

A FORWARD VIEW • Once you've added a few subscriptions, the Year Ahead curve traces the rolling twelve months of subscription cost at a glance, with the year's peak gently called out. • Projection cards translate small monthly fees into one-, three-, and five-year totals — because £9.99 a month is £599 over five years, and that's the figure that helps you choose. • The Timeline view projects renewals forward across upcoming months for subscriptions, bills, and trials, so you can see exactly what's due.

A CELEBRATION OF LETTING GO • Cancelled something? It moves to "Freed" with the monthly amount you've let go — a quiet running tally of money you've taken back. Not a bin. CURRENCIES, CLEARLY • Subscriptions can be in GBP, USD, or EUR. Totals convert to your home currency at user-set or fetched rates, always shown with an "≈" so you know it's an estimate. • Tap any converted total to see a per-currency breakdown.

CALM REMINDERS • Local notifications a few days before each renewal and trial end — at 9 a.m., never at midnight. • You set the lead time per item. Renewal reminders and trial alerts can each be turned off globally in Settings. YOURS, ACROSS YOUR IPHONES • When iCloud is enabled, Subscurate syncs your subscriptions, bills, intentions, and notes between every iPhone signed in to the same iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. • The sync stays inside your private iCloud database. The developer never has access. There's no separate sign-in, no third-party sync server.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-in, no ads, no cross-app tracking. • TelemetryDeck receives privacy-preserving usage events (e.g. "the app launched") to help shape future updates. Not linked to identity. No subscription names, amounts, intentions, or notes are sent. • Aside from iCloud sync and App Store purchase checks, the only other non-analytics outbound request is to a public exchange-rate service, sending nothing but currency codes. • Both light and dark appearances are fully supported. Dark is the default, with System and Light selectable in Settings.
