Likhita Rama is a digital extension of the ancient Rama Koti practice — writing the name of Sri Rama by hand, one mantra at a time, until a sankalpam is complete. Likhita Foundation prints the finished book and delivers it to Bhadrachalam temple on your behalf.

The Practice

A koti is a fixed count of mantras you commit to writing in honor of a sankalpam — a vow taken in front of the deity. Likhita Rama is set up for the four traditional modes practiced across South India:

• Lakh — 100,000 mantras (most common single-person sankalpam) • Crore — 10,000,000 mantras (the "Rama Koti" in its full form) • Japa — 108 mantras (daily round) • Nitya — 1,008 mantras (weekly intensive)

You pick one when you begin. The app holds your count, prevents skipping ahead, and confirms each commit to the server before adding it to your bound book.

Two Books

My Book is your personal sankalpam. Every mantra you write is bound into a single book whose pages are printed when your koti completes. Your name appears on the dedication page.

The Sangha is the communal Foundation Koti — one append-only ledger of one crore (10,000,000) mantras contributed by devotees worldwide. Once written, never erased. You can add your hand to it without having a personal koti, or alongside one.

How the Delivery Works

When your sankalpam completes, the Foundation prints your book on archival paper, binds it traditionally, and physically deposits it at Bhadrachalam temple's koti-vault. A receipt photo arrives in the app. Pricing is cost-recovery only — print + temple courier + payment processing, nothing more. Full audited line items are at likhita-kappa.vercel.app/transparency.

• Sankalpam onboarding walks you through naming the vow, picking a dedication, choosing your stylus and theme, and a held pledge. • The writing surface shows your mantras as a bound book filling page by page. • Cadence-based anti-cheat blocks macro-typed batches without ever blocking genuine human typing. • Append-only by design — your work is never lost.
