A camera for your microscope
A microscope camera for iPhone. Built for students, teachers, and researchers to view and capture live microscope images.
Microscope Viewer Camera turns your iPhone into a live camera for your microscope. View specimens on screen, capture photos and video, and share what you see.
Works with phone-based microscope systems and eyepiece adapters so the image under the lens appears live on your iPhone screen. Great for classrooms, labs, field work, and home exploration. No more taking turns at the eyepiece — everyone can see the same specimen together.

Microscope Viewer Camera is brand-agnostic and works with any microscope on which an iPhone can be stably positioned in front of the eyepiece lens. The app controls only the iPhone camera and does not communicate with or depend on any microscope hardware.
INTENDED USE
For educational and hobbyist use only. Not intended for clinical, diagnostic, or medical purposes. Microscope Viewer Camera is an independent app and is not affiliated with, developed for, or endorsed by any medical institution.
The app does not guarantee that the camera view matches what is seen with the naked eye through the eyepiece. Image fidelity depends on the microscope's optics, phone placement, and lighting. The app applies no transformation, color correction, or extra magnification beyond what the iPhone camera natively performs — it is a passive viewer and recorder.
Tip: on a binocular microscope, place the phone on one eyepiece and look through the other eyepiece with the naked eye to compare the camera view against what you see by eye.
PRIVACY
Microscope Viewer Camera works entirely on your device. Photos and videos stay in your Photo Library. No accounts, analytics, tracking, ads, or cloud uploads.
Requires iOS 17 or later.
