Aquero: A Lourdes Devotional

Aquero is a quiet companion for anyone who has come to love Our Lady of Lourdes: pilgrims, the sick, hospitaliers, and those who pray from far away.

Each day, the home screen offers a short Marian quote from a saint, a pope, or Bernadette herself. The Pray section gathers the rosary, the novena to St. Bernadette, the novena to the Immaculate Conception, the Way of the Cross at Lourdes, and the great Marian prayers (the Memorare, the Magnificat, the Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes, the Prayer of a Poor Beggar). The Lourdes section tells the story of Bernadette and the eighteen apparitions, the message of Lourdes, and the Church-recognized cures.

The novena to St. Bernadette is structured as it should be: nine consecutive days, with the option to pick up where you left off if you miss a day. The Way of the Cross is a swipeable carousel of the fourteen stations, each pairing the Passion of Christ with the parallel witness of Bernadette. Optional reminders can invite you to begin a novena nine days before each major feast (Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Bernadette, the Immaculate Conception).

Aquero collects nothing about you. No accounts. No analytics. No ads. No cloud. Your novena progress and your settings live only on your phone. The app works fully offline.
