Field Notes is a mobile app for Field Officers and District Officers in Government schools to plan, carry out, and document school visits and classroom observations — even in areas with limited or no internet connectivity.

Designed around the real daily workflow of a field officer, the app brings attendance, scheduling, observations, reporting, and teacher management into one streamlined tool.

• Daily Attendance Mark yourself Present, Absent, Half Day, or Deputed in seconds, with optional notes. Your status updates instantly on your dashboard.

• Dashboard at a Glance See upcoming, completed, and pending activities on summary cards, plus today's full schedule and a pending-observations banner for the current month.

• Integrated Planner (Calendar) View all your activities in a monthly or weekly calendar. Colour-coded date badges show how many events are scheduled each day. Tap any date to see and filter its events.

• Create Tasks & Schedule Visits Add classroom observations, inspections, and other visits directly from the calendar. Set visit type, cluster, start and end times, then save — your task appears instantly on the schedule.

• School Directory Browse every school assigned to you with real-time search and status filters (All, Unplanned, Scheduled, Visited). Each card shows the school name, visit status, and last visited date.

• Classroom Observations Start observations from the dashboard, planner, or school page with a single "Do Now" tap. Fill structured observation and post-meeting forms on-site while details are fresh. Postpone or cancel visits when plans change.

• Reports & Summaries Review detailed, read-only summaries of completed observations. Filter school reports by observation type and date range to find records quickly.

• Activity Management Dedicated Upcoming, Pending, and Completed views help you stay on top of your workload. Age badges flag overdue tasks so nothing slips through the cracks.

• Teacher Management Maintain each school's teacher roster by adding Employee ID, name, and mobile number — feeding directly into the observation and audit workflow.

WORKS OFFLINE

Field work often happens where connectivity is poor. Field Notes caches your schools, calendar, and activity data so you can keep working without interruption. Mark attendance, create tasks, and complete observation forms offline — everything is queued locally and syncs automatically when you reconnect. A sync banner shows exactly how many items are waiting to upload.
