CENTINELA: TACTICAL NAVIGATION

Centinela is a tactical navigation app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch that brings together map, tools and coordination in a single interface. Plan, visualise and share information over digital maps, and connect with the TAK ecosystem when the operation requires it.

ONLINE AND OFFLINE MAPS Work with base maps from Apple, Google and IGN (standard, satellite, hybrid, terrain and topographic). Import and render offline cartography to operate with no coverage, with support for CompeGPS/TwoNav .rmap and handling of GeoTIFF, MBTiles, KML/KMZ, GeoPDF, JNX, MAP and IMP. Activate, hide, reorder, share and overlay your maps on top of the base map.

WAYPOINTS AND ROUTES Mark key points by tapping the map, entering coordinates or importing them from a file. Organise your waypoints into lists, assign icons and send them to the server. Plan routes and record your tracks in real time to analyse or repeat them.

DRAWING AND MEASURING Draw lines, polygons, areas, annotations and operational symbols directly over the terrain. Quickly calculate distances, segments and references to make decisions on the map.

TAK ECOSYSTEM Connect Centinela to compatible TAK servers and exchange Cursor-on-Target (CoT) events. Discover and exchange positions, routes and markers on the local network with ATAK and other Centinela devices. Keep your position updated even in the background.

MISSIONS, CONTACTS AND CHAT Group layers, routes, waypoints, contacts, drawings and resources by mission to preserve context and traceability. Sync information across users and devices, manage contacts and teams with connection and last-position indicators, and communicate through operational chat.

LIVE VIDEO Stream live video and audio to the configured server and play back video feeds to improve observation and tracking on the ground.

MEDEVAC Quickly complete a 9-line medical evacuation form and transmit critical information when it matters most.

DATA PACKAGES Prepare and share structured sets of tactical information, including TAK-compatible flows, to distribute operational context across the team.

APPLE WATCH Check your location, waypoints and key references from your wrist, without taking out your iPhone.

PRIVACY Centinela uses location, camera, microphone and the local network only to provide its navigation, capture and coordination features. It does not sell personal data or use it for personalised advertising. Synced information is only sent to the servers that you or your organisation configure.

Centinela is designed for professionals who need precise navigation, offline cartography and on-the-ground coordination. Requires iOS/iPadOS 17 or later and watchOS 10 or later.
