FIND THE WORDS With Pro, turn supported speech into text. Choose the spoken language, read or share the transcript, and find the recording later by searching its words. Matching transcript excerpts help you recognize the right recording. Transcription must finish before spoken words become searchable.

KEEP YOUR LIBRARY ORGANIZED Open the full recordings list to search and filter. Sort by date, duration or name. Find recordings with transcripts, saved places or deletion protection.

PROTECT AGAINST ACCIDENTAL DELETION Pro lets you lock important recordings. Enable secure unlock to require Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode before unlocking them for deletion. This protects deletion; it does not hide playback or sharing.

REMEMBER THE PLACE Optionally attach an estimated recording location with Pro. Location is off by default and stays under your control.

BACK UP WHERE YOU CHOOSE With Pro, select a backup folder in Files. Backups can include audio, recording details and transcript text. Your recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share, export or back them up. Apple speech recognition may process audio online for some languages.
