Rusty Pilot Reminders
Stay current. Stay airworthy. Stay flying.
Never get caught off-guard by an expired medical, a lapsed flight review, or an overdue annual again. Rusty Pilot Reminders is the all-in-one compliance tracker built by pilots, for pilots — keeping every FAA currency requirement and airworthiness deadline organized in one place.
For Pilots
Track everything that keeps you legal in the cockpit: Flight Reviews, Medical Certificates (Class 1, 2, 3, and BasicMed), Instrument Currency, and Day/Night Passenger-Carrying Currency. The app automatically calculates your expiration dates based on FAA rules — just enter your completion date and let it do the math.
For Aircraft
Keep your aircraft airworthy and inspection-ready. Track your Annual, 100-Hour, Transponder, ELT, and Pitot-Static inspections alongside engine hours, oil changes, magneto checks, and propeller time. Look up any aircraft by tail number to pre-fill make, model, and year — then add as many user-defined items as your aircraft needs.
Always Know Where You Stand
A color-coded dashboard gives you an instant green / yellow / red status for every pilot and every aircraft at a glance. Yellow means due within 60 days. Red means it's time to act. No more digging through logbooks or spreadsheets before a flight.
FAA Airworthiness Directives Built In
Search the FAA's AD database directly from the app. Applicable directives for your aircraft are fetched automatically and available offline, with one-tap access to the official PDF.
Your Data, Your Device
Everything is stored locally — no account required, no data sent to any server. Your logbook information stays private.

Getting Started
Add a Pilot — Tap "Add Pilot" on the dashboard. Enter a name and certificate type. Then tap the pilot to fill in your Flight Review, Medical, and currency dates. The app calculates expiry automatically.
Add an Aircraft — Tap "Add Aircraft" and enter your tail number. Hit "Look up" to auto-fill make, model, and year from the FAA registry. Add tachometer readings and any known hours while you're there. (Note: The N-number lookup feature only works for aircraft registered in the US with the FAA. If your aircraft is registered in another country, you can still enter the information manually.)
Enter Your Dates — Tap any item on the pilot or aircraft detail screen to log a completion date. Green = current, Yellow = due within 60 days, Red = overdue.
Check Your Dashboard — Every pilot and aircraft shows a single status badge so you know at a glance what needs attention before your next flight.
Set Up Notifications — Go to Settings and turn on notifications to get reminders before something expires.
View ADs — On any aircraft detail screen, tap "View Airworthiness Directives" to pull applicable ADs directly from the FAA database.
Share Records — Tap the share icon on any pilot or aircraft screen to export a PDF summary.
All data is stored on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.
