EmberCore is a tactical roguelike about flying the corpse of your planet straight at the corporation that killed it.

The Pyrelux Corporation harvests world-cores for fuel. They cracked yours open - and the planetary AI bound to it survived inside a single crystalline shard. You're that AI. The "ship" you pilot is a chunk of the dead world, drifting between sectors on a one-way revenge run toward Pyrelux HQ.

TURN-BASED, TILE-BASED COMBAT Position matters. So does line of sight. Every drone, turret, and corp installation plays out on a tactical grid: walk a step, fire a weapon, take cover. No real-time pressure - read the room, move once, commit.

YOU ARE YOUR PARTS Your fragment is built from modular parts: thrusters, weapons, sensors, shields, reactors. Take damage and pieces get stripped off. Salvage better ones from wrecks. Builds emerge from what the sector throws at you, not from a tech tree.

THREE FRAGMENTS, ALL UNLOCKED Pick yours at the start of every run. Ember Shard (fast, fragile). Obsidian Core (heavy, armored). Magma Titan (slow, devastating). Different parts, different early-game shape, same final confrontation.

ASCII AESTHETIC Crisp pixel-art sprites in a terminal-inspired look - readable on a phone, lava-orange palette, with a colorblind mode that uses patterns and symbols as a second channel.

BUILT FOR PHONES Portrait-only. Tap to move, tap an enemy to attack. The viewport scrolls - combat space is bigger than the screen, the way a tactical grid should be.

NO ADS, NO ACCOUNTS Plays offline. Local saves, local leaderboards. Just the run and you.
