The query string is sent only to the public databases above - none of which receive any user identifiers - and your search history never leaves your phone. NameVett collects anonymous usage and crash diagnostics to improve the app: you can turn this off any time in Settings, and in the EU it stays off unless you opt in. No advertising ID, no tracking across apps, and your searches are never part of it.
