Dibsy: Free Stuff & Giveaways

Got something to give away? Photo, pin, post and a neighbour picks it up. No money, no postage, no clutter. Stuff that needs a new home, people nearby who want it.

1. Post — photo, title, where to find it, and how long it's available.
2. Browse — see what's nearby on the map. Tap a pin to see the photo and details.
3. Dibs — call dibs on the items you want. The lister sees you in their inbox.
4. Chat — sort out a pickup time over a simple in-app message thread.
5. Pick up — show up, grab it, the lister marks it gone.

WHAT GOES ON DIBSY

Furniture, whitegoods, electronics, garden gear, kids' toys, anything else that's still got life in it. Things that would otherwise hit the verge or the tip. Items have to be safe, legal, and on offer for free - no selling, no requests, no services.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT

• Free, always. There's no in-app purchase and no plans to add one.
• Ad-free. We don't run ads, full stop.
• Privacy-first. We collect what we need (a phone number, your listing details, a map pin for the item) and nothing else. No third-party trackers. No analytics SDKs. No selling your data - we don't have anyone to sell it to.
• Neighbour-to-neighbour. Items are picked up where the lister chose. Dibsy is a connector, not a courier.

SAFETY

• Every listing has a Report button.
• Every chat has Block and Report.
• You can delete your account, including everything attached to it, from your profile.
• We never share your phone number with another user. The chat is in-app only.

A few things you'll want to know:

• Items are taken "as is, where is." Dibsy is not a party to the exchange - pick up at your own discretion.
• You must be 18+ to use Dibsy.
• If you're posting white goods or electronics, please test them and say honestly whether they work.
