I didn't build Carry to be another stats app cluttered with numbers I'd never look at. I built it because my own practice was a mess. I'd hit balls for an hour and walk away with no idea whether I'd actually improved. The real problem showed up on the course: I knew my total distances, but I didn't know my carries—so I'd come up short of greens over and over. I was clubbing off the wrong number and wondering why I kept missing. The standard approach to practice is just "hit more balls," and that wasn't fixing any of it. So I designed Carry around the two things that actually move the needle: knowing your true carry distances for every club, and adding speed training to pick up real yardage over time. It's built for the range and the simulator, where most of us actually practice. No bloat, no confusing menus—you log a session, see your numbers, and watch them improve. What I cared about most was making it dead simple. Practice tools should make you want to practice more, not feel like data entry. With Carry, you just log and go, and over time you get a clear picture of who you actually are as a ball striker—and where you're gaining. Because I built this to fix my own practice, it's become part of how I train. I finally know my carry numbers, I'm dialing in my club selection, and I'm starting to see real speed gains.
