• Import and OCR photos, including sharing an image from Photos or another app to open PlateVision AI directly in the OCR import flow.
• Add registrations manually with the redesigned Add Plate flow.
• Edit, copy, delete, and manage saved registrations, including private vehicle records.
• Save vehicle photos and notes.
• Request DVLA vehicle details and DVSA MOT history, including test dates, mileage, pass/fail results, defects, and vehicle information when supplied.

Privacy and control

Recognition and saved scan history are designed around on-device use. If you request DVLA or DVSA information, the registration is sent to the secure vehicle lookup service so the requested details can be returned. You choose what to save and what to export.

PlateVision AI is free to download and use. The core scanner is free; an optional subscription unlocks the saved records, vehicle tools, and exports listed above.
