Tide charts & marine weather
Offline tide prediction from harmonic constants: high/low tides, spring/neap, plus sea temp, currents, waves & chlorophyll — the marine picture in one map pin.
Sea Info Map brings tides, weather, ocean and astronomy together in one map pin — built for working on and around the water.
■ Offline tide graph (Japan, USA, Netherlands)
High-accuracy tide prediction runs entirely on your device from harmonic constants. Even offshore with no signal, see high/low tide times, spring/neap tides and the continuous tide curve.
- USA: 1,308 NOAA stations (mainland, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico)
- Japan: 239 JMA reference ports
- Netherlands: 18 principal ports
The chart datum is stated for each region (Japan: LWOST, USA: MLLW, Netherlands: NAP).
■ Alerts (set per saved location)
Turn on only the alerts you need, location by location.
- High tide / low tide: choose the lead time per item, up to 6 hours ahead
- Sunrise / sunset: same
- Work window: the evening before, only when tomorrow has hours meeting your own limits for wave height and wind speed. Set thresholds to match your boat or job — quiet days stay quiet.
■ Works out of signal range (offline storage)
Coverage disappears at sea. Weather and ocean data fetched while online is stored and shown offline. One fetch holds several days of forecast, so opening the app before departure keeps you covered.
- The fetch time is shown on screen, so old values are never taken for current ones
- A coastline overlay stays on the map, so you can relate your position to the shore when tiles cannot load
- Offline storage can be switched off, shows saved points and real disk usage, and cleared anytime
■ Units, set separately
Temperature (°C / °F), length (cm, m / ft) and speed (m/s / kt) are set independently — the combination differs by country, and the UK reads Celsius but works in feet and knots at sea. The first launch picks your region's.
■ Map overlays (heat-map layers)
Overlay sea surface temperature (SST), chlorophyll-a (a fishing-ground / tide-line indicator), wave height and currents as color layers. Temperature fronts and strong-current bands such as the Kuroshio stand out at a glance. SST uses the latest ~5 km gap-free data. Wave and current layers animate with the time slider.
■ Wind
Wind arrows show where the wind is blowing (direction + speed) at a glance. Forecast-aware and synced to the time slider.
■ Point data (tap to read)
Temperature, wind speed/direction, pressure, precipitation chance, UV index and conditions; SST, currents, wave height, chlorophyll-a and depth. Plus how pressure and wind may raise or lower the actual water level, a heat-stress alert, and five-year climate normals for the date.
■ Charts & base map
Satellite / standard base maps with OpenSeaMap nautical marks (lighthouses, buoys, navigation aids, depth marks). The day/night terminator is shown too. Search by place name or address, and open the spot in Google Maps or Street View.
■ Astronomy (offline)
Sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset and moon phase — for night fishing and night work.
■ Time slider
Drag the date/time slider and the tide curve, weather, ocean data and overlays (forecast, up to ~10 days ahead) update together — from the past into the future.
■ Favorites & CSV export (single day or a date range)
Save your go-to spots and export tide (high/low), weather and ocean data to CSV — one day or a whole date range, reaching back five years. Useful for site records and reports.
