Free learning tool. Memorize all 29 Seotda hwatu hands with short quizzes. Real National Folk Museum artwork (KOGL Type 1). No account, fully on-device.
Seotda Rank Trainer is the fastest way to memorize the rank order of every hand in Seotda — the classic Korean two-card gambling game played with hwatu (Korean flower cards).
Seotda has more hands than poker (29 in total: special pairs, ten "ttaeng" pairs, six special "kkeut" combos, and ten regular "kkeut" hands), and the order isn't always intuitive. Reading a rule book is slow. Short, repeated quizzes are how you actually internalize a ranking system. That's exactly what this app does.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Reference — All 29 Hands at a Glance
Every hand category is organized into clean groups: Gwangttaeng, Ttaeng, Special Kkeut, and Regular Kkeut. Tap any card to see its tier, the actual hwatu cards that form it, and a clear explanation in your language.
• Quiz — Three Modes That Cover Every Skill
- Identify — "What is this hand called?" Recognize a 2-card hand from real hwatu artwork.
- Compare — "Which hand wins?" Two hands side by side, pick the winner.
- Counter — "Which hand beats this?" Train your reflexes for table play.
• Hand Evaluator — Quick Lookup Tool
Pick any two hwatu cards and instantly see what hand it forms and where it sits in the ranking. Perfect for settling table disputes or just satisfying curiosity.
• Stats Tracking
See your accuracy per quiz mode. Watch your numbers climb as you learn.
WHY THIS APP
