Kidoio: Kids

Kidoio Kids is the kid-side companion to Kidoio. There is no open browsing. There is no algorithm. Children pick a video they want to watch, complete a short pre-watch question, then wait for a parent to review the request through the Kidoio for Parents app. Once approved, the video is added to their personal watchlist.

WHAT IT INCLUDES:

— Pre-watch warm-up: a single Vygotsky-aligned comprehension prompt appropriate for the child's age band. — Watchlist of approved videos only — no infinite scroll, no recommendations from third parties. — Star reward for completing post-watch comprehension. — No ads. No third-party analytics SDKs. No external links beyond YouTube playback for approved videos. — Six-language interface; Made for Kids 4+ category.

KIDOIO KIDS DOES NOT:

• Collect personal information from children. The account is the parent's; the child's profile is a name and age band stored against the parent account.
• Show ads or recommend videos to children.
• Allow children to type URLs, search YouTube, or navigate outside the approved list.

PARENT REQUIRED: Kidoio Kids is designed to be paired with Kidoio for Parents on a parent's phone. A parent must approve every video before the child can watch.
