What the app calculates

Enter a finger size in any standard, choose your metal and profile, set your geometry, and RingSizer instantly returns:

• Blank length in millimetres or inches • Cutting point on the strip • Solder gap for your chosen solder grade • Estimated blank weight in grams

Every result updates live as you adjust inputs, so you can explore different wall thicknesses or metals before cutting a single piece of stock.

Supported ring size standards

EU, US, UK, RU and JP. Type a size in any of these systems and the app converts it for you automatically. Calculations are based on ISO 8653 ring gauge standards.

Metal library

Au 585, Au 750, Au 999, Ag 925, Ag 999, Pt 950, Pd 950, Copper and Brass. Each metal uses its correct density for accurate weight estimates.

Profile and joint options

Choose from Round, Square, Rectangle or D-Profile cross-sections. Pick a Butt or Overlap joint and select Hard, Medium or Soft solder grade. The solder gap is factored directly into the blank length so your seam closes cleanly every time.

Reference tables built in

The Reference tab puts the most-used workshop data at your fingertips: a full international ring size conversion table, metal density reference, and a solder guide with recommended gap values for each grade.
