Morain Mahj is a tournament, league, and education management platform for the American Mah Jongg community in the United States. The app is used by tournament directors, league organizers, instructors, and players to manage real-world events and educational programs.

These are traditional fundraising activities similar to school or nonprofit fundraisers. The app does not operate gambling, casino, betting, or wagering services. There is no house, sportsbook, odds-based wagering, or cash payout mechanism within the app. Any proceeds belong solely to the tournament organizer or designated charity. The app developer does not receive raffle or auction proceeds. Login Requirement: Login is required because all content is tied to a player's profile, event registrations, league memberships, course enrollments, attendance records, and scoring history. There is no public content available without authentication, similar to event-management or membership-based platforms. Subscription Model: Tournament directors pay a platform subscription to manage tournaments, leagues, and educational programs. Players use the app free of charge. Any payment screens visible in the demo represent optional real-world event registration fees charged by tournament organizers and are not App Store subscriptions or in-app purchases sold by Morain Mahj. Notifications: The app uses push notifications and email notifications to inform users about their own activity, including tournament check-in availability, successful check-in, payment confirmations, class enrollments, score verification updates, winner announcements, leaderboard updates, and tournament communications. Notifications are only sent to participating users and are strictly related to event management and participation.
