HeadWell is the first migraine app that gives you a daily risk forecast — combining your iPhone's barometer, Apple Health, your menstrual cycle, and your own logged patterns into one clear answer: how likely is today, and what should I do about it? When you can see attacks forming in the prodrome window, you can act before pain takes over.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Log a headache once and HeadWell starts learning your patterns. After three entries, the forecast unlocks.

2. Every morning, HeadWell reads barometric pressure, weather shifts, last night's sleep, HRV, and your cycle phase — then shows you today's risk on a 7-day calendar.

3. When risk climbs, open Activities for guided breathing, neck stretches, or craniofacial massage protocols designed to head off attacks in the prodrome window.

PREDICT Your iPhone has a built-in barometer that reads atmospheric pressure to ±0.1 hPa — more accurate than any weather forecast. HeadWell pairs it with Apple WeatherKit for a hyper-local pressure signal, then weights sleep deficit, HRV drops, cycle phase, and your personal triggers. The result: a concrete risk number (32%, not "moderate") with the top two drivers shown plainly. No black box.

LOG WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK Quick log captures pain level and head location in 8 seconds. Need detail for your neurologist? The full log covers headache type, 19 anatomical pain regions, aura type with animated visual education, prodrome and recovery symptoms, medication dose and timing, and effectiveness scoring. "Hey Siri, I have a headache" works too.

UNDERSTAND YOUR PATTERNS 12 personalized insight cards unlock as your data matures — sleep deficit correlation, caffeine windows, perimenstrual clusters, weather sensitivity, day-of-week patterns, medication effectiveness rankings. Each card shows a relative risk multiplier from your own data ("3.2x more likely after poor sleep"), not a generic factoid.
