ABOUT THE FINE ART WORLD

These twelve works are in the public domain (PD-Art) and sourced from Wikimedia Commons. Each level features its painting as a softly-overlaid background; the path color palette is derived from the work's dominant tones. Thanks to the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, British Museum, Museo del Prado, Munch Museum, Mauritshuis, Rijksmuseum, Metropolitan Museum, and Art Institute of Chicago — institutions whose open-access programs make this kind of cultural sharing possible.
