RhythmMaJhong is a rhythm game that blends traditional mahjong tile imagery with a falling-tile rhythm gameplay mechanic, similar to games like Taiko no Tatsujin or Guitar Hero.

Core Gameplay

• Mahjong tiles (Wan, Tong, Tiao suits, plus Wind and Dragon tiles) fall from the top of the screen down to a hit zone at the bottom.
• The player taps anywhere on the screen to hit the tiles as they reach the hit zone.
• Timing is everything: Perfect, Great, Good, or Miss judgments are determined by how close the tap is to when the tile enters the hit zone.
• A combo system rewards consecutive hits with bonus points. Reaching a 10-combo triggers a special "Hu" animation (referencing the mahjong win condition).

Level System

• 8 difficulty levels: Novice (100 BPM) → Mahjong God (240 BPM)
• Higher levels introduce more tile types and increase note count, speed, and BPM.
• Easy levels use only a subset of tile suits; harder levels unlock all mahjong tiles.

Scoring & Results

• Points scale with combo count: Perfect (300 + combo×10), Great (200 + combo×5), Good (100), Miss (0).
• End-of-level results show score, max combo, hit breakdown, and a 1–3 star rating based on accuracy.
