Egg Chain

This is a puzzle game about numbers, arrows, and the very specific feeling of thinking. Each level takes place on a 3 by 3 board with numbered tiles placed in different cells. Every tile has an arrow, and you can change its direction before the sequence begins. Some tiles move straight, some can move diagonally, and one marked tile shows where the chain starts. Once you press Go, the numbers begin to move in order you set for them. When two matching numbers collide, they merge into a bigger one. Two 2s become 4, two 8s become 16, and so on. Your goal is to arrange the arrows so the board resolves into one final number — ideally the biggest one possible. It starts simple, then quickly becomes a game of planning, prediction, and quiet revenge against your own earlier decisions. Every level asks you to think ahead, use space carefully, and figure out how to make the chain react exactly the way you want.
