Absolutely thrilled with TerminalWidget. It’s like a modern, more powerful version of GeekTool for widgets not just on my Mac but also on iPhone and iPad. You’re going to have to be comfortable doing some scripting to make this sing, but wow is it powerful. There are some great recipes on the app web site you can use as jumping off points. Especially excited that the developer continues to update TerminalWidgets regularly with new capabilities. All in all, very excited about all that’s possible with this awesome tool.

I bought this specifically to make a Lock Screen widget on my phone. Apparently it doesn’t support that; I guess it’s a different widget type? Very disappointed. (Also I wouldn’t hate the ability to go as a complication into a smart face on the Apple Watch either, but at least I expected that wouldn’t work because the store page doesn’t mention Watch anywhere. But Lock Screen first.)
