Pluck is an iPhone app for exporting contacts. It groups your address book by country, finds duplicates the iOS built-in tool misses, and exports clean files to CSV, Excel, TXT, or vCard. The whole app runs on your phone. There is no server, no account, no analytics SDK, no networking code at all. Your contacts can't be uploaded because nothing in the app could send them.

WHAT IT DOES

• Auto-groups contacts by country. Pluck reads each phone number, detects the country code, and bins your contacts onto per-country lists. No manual tagging.

• Finds duplicates iOS misses. iOS 17 added a duplicate finder that catches the obvious cases. Pluck normalizes phone numbers before comparing, so reformatted versions of the same number (like +1 415 555 2671 and (415) 555-2671) are flagged as duplicates and can be merged.

• Exports to four formats. CSV, Excel (.xlsx), plain text, or vCard (.vcf). Pick which fields to include. Set how country codes are formatted. Bundle every country into one file or split per country.

• Backup and restore. Tap once to back up your full contact list as a vCard. Save it to Files, AirDrop it, email it, drop it in iCloud Drive. Restore from any vCard when you set up a new phone.

• Phone-number formatting that matches your CRM. Strip country codes, force the international E.164 format, or add a country code to local-only numbers. Useful when prepping a CSV for a CRM import.

• Clean Up tool. Remove broken contacts (no phone number) or duplicates directly from your iPhone, with confirmation before any change is made.

PRIVACY-FIRST BY ARCHITECTURE

Most contact apps are data brokers in disguise. Pluck is the opposite. The app contains zero networking code. There are no third-party SDKs, no Google Analytics, no Facebook tracking, no crash reporters, no ad networks. Apple handles the one-time purchase. Everything else stays on your device.
