My Speech: Filler Log

This app helps you track and reduce the number of filler words in your speech, turning the habit of saying "um," "like," "well," or "so," into a conscious language control skill. It combines a counter, a trainer, and a reference guide so users don't just notice the problem but actually improve their speech day after day.

The main screen displays a large daily counter showing how many filler words you've used today. It updates in real time and provides instant feedback: you can immediately see how often unnoticed words intrude into your speech. Nearby, you have quick access to popular filler words—just select one from the list (like, "I mean," literally, so, okay, right, well, hmm) to instantly add them to your personal counter.

The counter screen allows you to flexibly manage your speech habits: you can manually add your own filler words and quickly increase their number—a single tap adds +1, a long press adds +5. This makes the process as fast and natural as possible, as if you were catching yourself in a real conversation.

The history section stores the entire progress: each day is recorded separately, along with the total number of filler words used and a progress indicator. Users can immediately see whether their speech is becoming clearer or, conversely, whether they're relapsing into old habits.

A separate section, Global Filler Words, is a global reference of the most common filler words in different languages. It helps them understand that such habits are universal: they exist in English, Russian, and many other languages, and you're not alone in this problem.

Practice Mode turns the app into a speech trainer. The user is shown a filler word, and the task is to come up with cleaner and more conscious replacements. This could be a paraphrase or a more precise expression of the thought. This mode helps not only record the problem, but also actively reprogram speech habits.

In the settings, you can manage notifications, as well as view the privacy policy and terms of use.
