HealthKit on your terms toody can read your sleep duration and menstrual cycle to show how each relates to your mood. This is read-only and stays on device. Nothing is sent to a server. You are asked for permission the first time you open the Sleep or Cycle card. You can decline, and toody keeps working with journaling exactly the same.

With iCloud sync on, entries sync privately through your iCloud with end-to-end encryption by Apple in transit and at rest. With iCloud sync off, nothing leaves your device. Export everything to JSON anytime, and delete everything in one tap.
