FocusBuddy: ADHD Learning

FocusBuddy is a friendly learning companion built especially for children with ADHD — short
sessions, big rewards, and a fox mascot cheering every step of the way.

Designed around the needs of kids who struggle to sit still, FocusBuddy breaks learning into
tiny, achievable wins. Every tap earns a star. Every star unlocks something cool. No frustration. No walls of text. Just play, focus, and celebrate.

FOCUS TIMER
Pick a session length (5 to 25 minutes) and choose your buddy mascot — fox, panda, lion, koala, or frog. A colourful animated ring counts down the time. A gentle warning sound plays at 3
seconds remaining, then a fanfare and star reward when the session is done. Perfect for homework time, reading, or any task that needs a little structure.

TASKS Big tasks are broken into small, checkable steps so nothing feels overwhelming. Tap each step as it's done and watch the progress dots fill up. Complete a whole task and earn +3 stars plus a celebration. A daily reset button keeps things fresh.

THREE MINI-GAMES (all under 2 minutes)

• Math Blitz — 10 quick-fire maths questions with a countdown timer per question. Four bold
answer buttons in fun colours. Perfect for number practice without the pressure.

• Memory Match — flip 16 emoji cards to find all 8 pairs. A classic concentration game that
rewards attention and focus.

• Word Puzzle — unscramble shuffled letters to spell the word. Tap a letter to place it, tap
Clear to start over. An emoji hint on every card keeps it achievable.

All games award 1–5 stars based on performance, giving kids a goal to reach for.

REWARDS
Stars earned across all activities go into a running total. Unlock 6 achievements and spend stars in the Theme Shop to unlock Ocean, Forest, and Sunset colour themes.
