YOUR EYES & EARS ONLY Highlight is designed to keep your recordings and related content private. It uses Apple Intelligence, including the on-device Foundation Models, to write summaries, name recordings and highlights, and structure your transcript. It uses Apple’s on-device Speech framework to transcribe audio.

Everything happens on device. Nothing is sent to any third-party AI service. Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries never leave your device unless you choose to share them.

No accounts. No cloud. No analytics.

FOLLOW ALONG When a transcript is available, Follow Along highlights the words being spoken during playback and lets you tap any paragraph to jump to that part of the audio.

SEARCH BEYOND THE TITLE Search can look through recording titles, highlight names, notes, summaries, and tags, so it is easier to find the recording you need even when you do not remember what you called it.
