RUTEN — drifting life and time

A small planet, viewed from space.

On a sphere, six lineages of life live within their own food chain. Closer to red: stronger, more predatory. Closer to blue: more numerous, gentler.

Pillars of light (lifestreams) rise from continents, where life springs forth. At the center floats the era, lunar month, solar term, and a kanji-numeral clock. Occasionally, a meditation bell in a Japanese pentatonic scale chimes "pohn" (optional).
