ComiNAS is a file browser and media player built for enjoying the comics, videos, music, PDFs, and text files stored on your home NAS. It connects directly via WebDAV / SMB / OPDS, so you do not need to upload your private library to a cloud service.

◆ Read comics directly from your NAS Open ZIP / RAR / CBZ / CBR archives without extracting them first, and browse the images inside as thumbnails. ComiNAS supports common image formats such as jpg, png, webp, and heic, making it ideal for scanned comics and personal manga collections.

Comic-friendly reading options include two-page spreads, right-to-left or left-to-right reading, cover-first layouts, single-page display for wide images, and a page-curl effect that makes reading feel closer to flipping through a real book.

◆ Connect to Komga or Kavita libraries Browse self-hosted comic and book servers such as Komga or Kavita through their OPDS catalogs. On servers with OPDS-PSE support, stream CBZ pages without downloading an entire book, resume where you left off, and keep reading progress in sync with the server. Streaming reading is a Premium feature.

◆ Play videos stored on your NAS ComiNAS supports MP4 / MOV as well as many other formats including mkv, avi, wmv, flv, and webm. With VLC-powered playback, seek bar navigation, and subtitle track switching, you can watch videos directly from your NAS.

◆ Take your library offline Download files from your NAS to your device and enjoy them without a connection. Save the comics and videos you read most, and open them anytime from Offline Downloads on the Home screen — on the go or in flight.

◆ Get back to your favorite files faster Bookmark frequently used folders and open them from the Home screen with a single tap. Recent Access lets you quickly return to the folders, files, and ZIP/RAR archive entries you opened before.

NAS Auto-Discovery helps find devices on your local network, so you can connect even if you do not know the IP address.

◆ View many file types in one app ComiNAS also supports background music playback, a built-in PDF viewer, and direct viewing of text files such as txt, md, json, and source code.

With Light / Dark themes, thumbnail browsing, cache management, and saved connections for multiple servers, ComiNAS gives you a smoother way to enjoy your NAS library from iPhone and iPad.
