Jacana Scam Protection

Scam protection for you and yours. Jacana warns you about online scams before you tap, reply, or send money.

Scams have changed. Today's fraudsters use AI voice and video impersonations, and patient, long-form manipulation to steal life savings. They target parents, grandparents, and everyone connected to them. The onus to identify and detect these scams shouldn't be on you. That's why we built Jacana. Jacana is scam protection built for how scams actually work now.

WHAT YOU GET

Scam Check (free). Paste a suspicious text, email, or link. Jacana tells you what it is, what to do about it, and whether to trust it next time.

Trust Check (always free). Get a message that looks like it's from someone you know but feels a little off? Send a Trust Check. We'll check in with them safely through the app, and let you know whether it's really them or a scam. It protects you from AI video and audio impersonations of the people you trust. Add as many people to your family and community as you want. The more you add, the safer you all will be!

Autoscan (paid). Always-on scam protection. Think of Jacana as a world-class cybersecurity expert who is always looking out for you. When a text, email, or website looks like a scam, it warns you before you tap, reply, or send money.

Protect your whole family (paid). Get Autoscan for up to 6 people and see that it's running on their devices. Know when scams are flagged for your family members, without derailing your day.

PRIVACY BY DEFAULT

You choose what to share, or share nothing at all. We won't sell your data, and we won't use it to sell you ads. Your data, your call. Delete it anytime.

BUILT FOR FAMILIES

The best protection comes from people who already trust each other. A daughter who can verify her mom's caller. A parent who can shield their teen. A sibling who can catch a fake text before it gets forwarded around the family group chat. Jacana gives families the tools to protect each other.

THERE'S MORE TO JACANA

Jacana protects all of your apps on all of your devices. Alongside this app, Jacana runs on all your devices with always-on scam protection, so the people you care about are covered wherever they are.
