WHAT YOU'LL DO WITH IT

Start a Sniff Walk The home screen primary action isn't "start walking" - it's "Start a Sniff Walk." Because thirty minutes of letting your beagle investigate every smell on the block is enrichment, not killing time, and it deserves to be tracked as such. Sniff walks are the BeagleBay default; exercise, training, and potty walks are one tap away.

Sniff-walk weather conditions Live weather plus a beagle-specific advisory. Humidity matters - muggy 27C feels very different to a beagle than dry 27C. Hot-pavement reminder included. Powered by Apple Weather.

Nose Work tab Four scent games for the days you can't get outside: Find the Treat, Trail Towel, Box Search, Backyard Scent Path. Each game has step-by-step instructions; tap Mark Complete to add the session to your beagle's weekly enrichment count.

Howls tab Beagles howl. BeagleBay counts them - all on-device, audio never recorded or uploaded. The Howls tab shows your weekly count, the time-of-day pattern (morning / afternoon / evening), and the walks where your beagle was loudest. Optional retro-tagging for common triggers (siren, doorbell, other dog, unknown).

Care tab Beagle-specific reminders that fire when they should. Ear checks every two weeks. Weight watch - beagles are notoriously food-driven, and the food safety list flags grapes, xylitol, chocolate, onions, and the dozens of other things they'll absolutely try to inhale. Dental care, vet visits, ID-tag checks, vaccinations.

Care notes for your vet A simple event log with built-in stopwatch, duration, and recovery notes - useful for owners tracking incidents like seizures or other moments worth mentioning at the next vet visit. Stays on your device; included in the vet PDF when you choose to share. Never a substitute for veterinary care.

Vet-visit summary, one tap The "Share with vet" button builds a clean multi-page PDF: walks, weight history, meals, care notes, health event log. AirDrop, email, or message it to your vet - turn "how's she been?" into a real conversation.

Hound-specific tips Care guidance from real beagle people - counter-surfing, recall on a scent trail (good luck), the "I'm sad, give me cheese" stare.

PRIVACY THAT ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING

• Microphone audio is analyzed on-device for howl detection. Never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Apple Health integration is optional. BeagleBay can write walk distance and active calories to Apple Health when you allow it; it does not read Apple Health data.
• Walks, weight, meals, ear checks, seizure events, photos, scent-game sessions - stored on your device only. The vet PDF is the only way any of it leaves the phone, and you choose when.
• No analytics SDKs. No ads. No data brokers. No tracking.
• Account deletion really deletes everything.
