FOR FILMERS — GET PAID FOR WHAT YOU SHOOT • Just film — the spot is detected for you • Set your own price for each clip and publish it to the surfers who were out there • Keep 75% of every sale. Early filmers — first sale by Dec 31, 2026 — keep 85% until Aug 31, 2027 • Follow your sales and payouts in the Earnings tab

TURN A WAVE INTO A PICTURE • Step through the clip you bought and stop on the exact moment you want • Six looks — As shot, Mono, Warm, Cool, Faded, Punch — are free, at full resolution • AI art redraws that frame in one of five styles: Ukiyo-e, Mid-century, Pastel, Minimal, Duotone • Have the spot name and the date lettered into the artwork itself

MAKE IT A PRINT • Save a frame, then make posters, canvases, T-shirts, mugs and more from it in our online store (shop.filmed.surf, in Japanese) • Prices and shipping are shown in the store

KEEP A SURF LOG — FREE • Check in and every session is logged • Weekly streaks and a year in review

BEACH CLEAN-UP • Photograph the litter you picked up at the shore and you get extra AI art tries • The photo is checked and then discarded — it is never stored

PRICING The app, the surf log and the six looks are free. Footage is sold by individual filmers and purchases are completed securely in your browser. AI art is an in-app purchase. Prints and goods are sold in our online store.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY FilmedSurf started in Japan. Surf forecasts and spot alerts are currently available only for spots in Japan. Clips appear wherever filmers are shooting.

Location is used to show nearby spots, match your waves to the right clips, and log your sessions.
