It is built for reminders that should not disappear into a calendar, chat thread, email inbox, or todo list. Use Beacon to keep important personal reminders in one focused inbox, receive reminders from your authorized tools, and act on them with simple follow-up actions.

Beacon is local-first. Reminder delivery relies on device-local notification scheduling, so your important reminders remain useful even when you do not want a heavy workflow or complex project system. When a trusted tool creates a new cloud reminder, Beacon can also send a generic remote notification that alerts you without putting reminder content into the push payload.

For advanced users, Beacon can also create access keys for trusted AI agents or external systems. These keys let authorized tools read or write reminders through Beacon's API, while the app remains the place where reminders are reviewed and acted on.
